We will endeavour to delete your personal data once it is no longer required for any of the above business purposes.

7.1. Ubit has implemented safeguards designed to protect your personal data, including measures designed to prevent the loss, misuse, and unauthorized access and disclosure of personal data. Nevertheless, Ubit cannot ensure or warrant the security or confidentiality of the information you transmit to or receive from us via the Internet or wireless connections. Transmission of data over the Internet always entails some risk, even if Ubit endeavors to protect the data upon receipt.

8.Children under the age of 18

8.1. Ubit's applications and services are not available to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 18 without parental consent. If we learn that we have collected information, including personal data, from an individual under the age of 18 without parental consent, we will immediately delete that information.

9.1. Ubit reserves the right to change this notice from time to time. We will notify you of changes to this notice by posting a revised version of this notice here, by email, or by a prominent notice on the Ubit application home page. We recommend that you check the application periodically for any changes.

11.European Economic Area Appendix

The following disclosures apply to and are specific to individuals residing within the European Economic Area (EEA).

11.1.1. The controller of your personal data is Ubit, Ltd.

11.2. Legal basis for processing personal data.

11.2.1. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") is the legal basis for the processing of personal data if we use it to fulfil a contractual obligation or in connection with a contractual request from you.

11.2.2. If we use personal data to comply with a legal obligation under EU or Member State law, Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR is the legal basis for our data processing.

11.2.3. To the extent that we use personal data to protect the vital interests of individuals, Article 6(1)(d) of the GDPR is the legal basis for our data processing.

For any such transfers, Ubit implements safeguards designed to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected. If you are located in the European Economic Area, Ubit will only transfer your personal data if: the country to which the personal data is to be transferred has received an adequacy decision from the European Commission; the recipient of the personal data is located in the United States and has been certified under the U.S.-EU Privacy Shield Framework; Ubit has taken appropriate protective measures for the transfer, for example, by entering into standard EU contractual terms with the recipient or; the applicable statutory exceptions to the general transfer ban of the GDPR apply.
